Privacy
Reading needs nothing. Without signing in, no cookie is set. Which pages are opened is counted by our own analytics on this domain (sent to /e and on to our own stats service), with the country, the kind of device (for example “android/chrome”) and the referring site. No advertising or third-party trackers run.
If you sign in with Google, we keep your Google account id, email, name and picture, and a session cookie (sid, 90 days) that holds only a random token. Your name, picture and a short handle are shown next to the recipes you make; your email is never shown. Signing out ends the session.
What you make is public and open. Recipes you create, fork or change are published under CC0 (public domain) or the licence of the recipe you forked, with every version kept in the recipe's history, including the note you write about a change.
The AI helper. When you ask the AI to write or change a recipe, what you typed or said is sent to an AI model run by Cloudflare (Workers AI) and kept as the note on that version. Speaking uses your browser's own speech recognition, which may send the audio to your browser's maker (Google for Chrome). We record each AI request's size, cost and time, tied to your account, to keep a daily limit.
Keys for agents. If you make a key on your kitchen page, we keep only a fingerprint of it, its label and when it was last used.
What stays on your device. The ingredients you tick off, Cook mode's place and the “simpler words” switch are kept in your browser's local storage and never sent to us.
Feedback. What you write in the feedback form, the page you sent it from, and your email if you give one, are stored so a person can read and answer them.
Who else sees the connection. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, sees each request as any host does. Google sees your sign-in.
